Well, this has been a fascinating weekend. Moral of the story, I need to back out of the hole.
There once was a little girl who had a temper problem. Everyday she would lose her temper, so she decided that everytime she lost her temper she would put a nail in the fence. Over the course of the next two weeks she put 43 nails into the fence. She continued this therapy until she had to put very few nails into the fence. Then one day she didn't have to put a nail into the fence, so she decided that every day she didn't lose her temper that she'd take a nail out of the fence. She did this until she had no more nails left in the fence. She went up to her mother and said "Look mom, no more nails in the fence." The mother said "that's good dear, but look at all of those holes in the fence. Those holes represent the scars that you've put onto people's lives. What you do can never be taken back, so remember not to make an action in which you will regret."

Well, I just got back from the movies, alone. Rather "fun" Wallace and Grommet. Slept. Bad Mood. Disappointed. Sad. Sorrowful. Oh fricken' well, I can't do anything to change that. Looking forward to homework tomorrow, possibly the highlight of my weekend, besides trying to teach Mike how to punch. Well, that's about it.
I think I'm going to start taking Adrian's advice, I'm not going to bother ever again, because it only leads to frustration and pain. I've just got to learn to let things go, and not expect anything to ever happen. Perhaps I should let my focus wander unto something else.

She doesn't know it, but holding her hand meant the world to me. As afraid as she was, and how oblivious she was to how right I felt, I felt nothing could possibly be wrong, I felt strangely close to her, the need to just hold her, but I can't.
